I'am exposing some of my paintings with other artists of the Erlangen's Art Association in the Gallery Treppenhaus, in Erlangen. I am presenting there my new serie dedicated to the next Olympics Games and a couple of other pieces. I got the inspiration for this serie during our last holiday in Athens. I was so impressed and fascinated from the beauty and perfection of the ancient Greek sculptures, that as soon as I was back I painted the “Discobolos” (discus thrower) serie. While painting it I got more and more interested in studiyng the dynamic of moving bodies. That's why I end up with the idea to paint the Decathlon serie. Last friday night (5th October) it was the opening party. It was a very nice evening, with some of Erlangens celebrities, the press, a lot of friends, part of the family and many many artists. I had a very good time thanks to all friends that came to support me. I would like to thank them a lot and I hope they enjoyed the party as well.

OFRA steht für oberfränkische Herbstmesse. Ich (und die anderen auch) habe mir eine kleine Konsumenta vorgestellt. Leider war es mehr eine Bauermesse. Nicht, dass ich etwas dagegen habe, aber das Publikum interessierte sich nicht gerade für Kunst, sondern für Mähmaschinen, Wein, Käsespätzle, Fenster, Türen, etc... Am sog. "Tag der Kunst" war so wenig los wie immer. Vielleicht weil das Wetter dagegen gespielt hatte (es war wünderschon, sonnig über 20°) oder vermutlich aus Mangel an Werbung!! Für diesen Tag war eine "Pressekonferenz" geplant. Das Ergebnisse, ein Foto in der Zeitung (Frankischer Tag). Vielleicht ist jetzt wenigstens mein Gesicht in Oberfranken besser bekannt!
